New comic books

We are pleased to present our new The Flåm Railway -drawing books.

The comic books are designed by local artist Åse Bjørnestad Dale, who grew up in Flåm with The Flåm Railway as the closest neighbor. The project therefore has a strong connection to the landscape and cultural heritage of the area.

The books contain 11 motifs inspired by the iconic train journey between Flåm and Myrdal.

The comic books are printed by the Norwegian printing company Printfarm in Øvre Årdal, as part of a focus on local collaboration throughout the entire production process.

The books are distributed to children traveling on our trains — a small gift to share the experience and inspire creativity along the way.
