The Flåm Railway AS is looking for booking employee

The Flåm Railway AS is expanding its booking and ticketing department with a new position. The department handles reservations for groups and tour operators from Norway and abroad and runs the ticket office at Flåm station. We also work closely with operators such as Norway's Best, Entur, Fjord Tours and Vy on the distribution of train tickets.

We work both with reservations far in advance, and the organization of daily visits.

Even though we have many guests, we are still a small company, which makes for an exciting and varied working day.

We are looking for a structured, thorough and reliable colleague. Experience with bookings in the travel and transportation sector is an advantage, but it is far more important that you are curious and willing to learn. You must be fluent in English both orally and in writing, and be professional and south-oriented in your dealings with guests, colleagues and partners. The work requires you to acquire basic Norwegian language skills if you do not already have them.

The position is based in Flåm, and requires working mornings, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational basis.
