A historic year for The Flåm Railway

We are happy to share that 2025 was a historic year for The Flåm Railway AS, with a total of 1,007,517 passengers. For the first time in our history, we have passed the milestone of one million trips.

The milestone passenger was the young couple Tanisha and Mehmet Topalhasan, who boarded the train at Myrdal and were pleasantly surprised by our team upon arrival in Flåm.

This achievement would not have been possible without our talented employees and, last but not least, you – our passengers – who chose to travel with us. Thank you for being part of our journey. We wish you all the best for a happy and memorable New Year in 2026.
