Winter greetings

Christmas is approaching, and we have just finished the winter decorations here in the village of Flåm. Lights and winter greenery brighten up the dark days and create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the village.

Winter in Norway offers calm, clear air and snowy landscapes, and the journey between Flåm and Myrdal becomes especially beautiful at this time of year. The mountains are covered in fresh snow, and the valley takes on a clean and bright feel that many travelers find magical.

The Flåm Railway runs all year round, and our trains run as usual according to the timetable available here .

From November until the end of March we have four departures per day.
